The QA/QC Engineer should be graduate engineer with experience in the filed of steel fabrication. He should have knowledge about the inspection techniques and applicable codes (AWS, ASME, API, ASTM) used in the fabrication of steel structure, tanks and pressure vessels. He will be required to monitor the fabrication quality, inspection and welding processes to ensure compliance with agreed standards and project specifications. He will also investigate and resolve fabrication quality issues and customer complaints.
· Lead and co-ordinate Quality-related activities on fabrication projects during various phases
· Develop and tailor to individual project Quality Management Requirements, inspection levels, materials testing Certification and Handover Documentation.
· Stay in line with International Standards and Company policies and Procedures and to provide technical assistance/ guidance to workshop to take part in specification reviews, material requisition reviews and execution procedure reviews to ensure all QA and QC requirements are addressed. |
